I presented this paper in Chicago at the annual conference of the American Educational Research Association. The study investigates college presidents’ statements in response to racial incidents on campus.
 This paper was written with assistance by Dr. Shaun Harper, Professor in the Graduate School of Education, Africana Studies, and Gender Studies at University of Pennsylvania. “Race and rhetoric: An analysis of college presidents’ statements on campus racial incidents, was noted in the Chronicle of Higher Education.
